7th April 2016Fathom Systems Ltd. are delighted to announce the 2nd contract award from Singapore based dive system specialists, Flash Tekk Engineering, for the supply of equipment for a new build saturation dive system. Stuart Falcus, Business Development Manager for Fathom Systems comments:
"This is yet another significant award for us as we continue to attract serious interest in our product portfolio in the South East Asian territory. The ambition in the new build market demonstrated by our Client, Flash Tekk, who are building systems for Ultra Deep Solutions (UDS), is unprecedented at a time when SME’s like Fathom are weathering the global economic downturn in our much loved industry. We are both honoured and excited to be part of this vision and very much look forward to seeing our high end, fully interconnected system installed and commissioned in the UDS fleet. We are further confident that having established a very good working relationship with Flash Tekk over the last year, we guarantee a ‘high end, fast track, value for money’ solution which will surpass our Client’s expectations."
Flash Tekk Engineering, established in early 2015, specialise in the design and manufacturing of in-built and surface supply diving systems with DNV class approvals and full IMCA compliancy. The engagement of Fathom Systems, specialists of 11 years in the provision of quality advanced technology products and services to the commercial diving sector, fully complements the Flash Tekk capability.
The new build Dive Support & Construction Vessel, to be named ‘Ultra Deep Installer’, commissioned by Ultra Deep Solutions and constructed by China Merchants Industry Holdings, Shenzhen, is due for delivery to UDS in Singapore around Q2-18. The vessel is being built to the MT6027 DSCV design of 142.9m length and 27m beam.
