Portable RHIB TWC

An extension of the bell emergency thru water communications system is an optional weatherproof topside unit which can be used from a lifeboat, RHIB, or easily transferred to another vessel if the host DSV is abandoned.

This unit provides all the functions of the rack-mounted topside transceiver unit but also has an internal battery supply to allow prolonged operation without external power.  It is recommended that this unit be used with a separate dunking transducer on a 10m cable.  This portable surface unit assembly is supplied in a ‘Pelican’ case that holds the surface transceiver unit, its transducer and accessories.
