Hyperbaric Reception Facility
Fathom Systems supplied a DDCS based product to mobile Hyperbaric Reception Facility specialists Mimir Marine.
The system is a cross between the standard full size system chassis and the 2-slot SPHL version, by installing the 5-slot version backplane in a larger IP65 stainless steel junction box. Similar to SPHL system, the control of the mobile HRF Comms unit is via a ruggedised tablet PC (typically a Panasonic CF-D1) which is mounted local to the main system enclosure. Control of the system is via a dedicated software application that runs on the tablet PC.
The system requirement is for the main primary OCP (operator control panel) to be retained within the HRF control room area, with the IP65 housed system chassis located in the chamber area. In the event of an evacuation from the control room area, voice comms is maintained through a seamless switchover from OCP to Toughpad. Similar to the SPHL based system, the product is accompanied by remote outstations including a chamber area unit for the LSS/LST to communicate with the chamber occupants as well as a chamber internal outstation.
