End Blanking Plate

End Blanking Plate

The iVP modularity is further expanded with the offer of 3 different varieties of end blanking plate, which as the name suggests is simply a plate inserted at the opposite end of the iVP’s electronics module with the type used dictated by the clients hydraulic operational requirements. With the combination of mid-section and end blanking plates on offer it is possible to have up to 3 separate pressure inputs and 2 return to tank lines. These may be explained as follows:

  1. Pressure Only – this plate only features a pressure input port. The standard plate for most conventional basic systems.

  2. Pressure & Tank – this plate features both a pressure input port and return to tank port. The variant plate commonly used for dual fluid operation or the requirement of having twin input and twin return lines (see own section)

  3. No P or T – this plate features neither a pressure input port nor a return to tank port and is used as a safety precaution. Commonly fitted to systems that feature a pressure reducing valve (PRV) so as to avoid plumbing incorrectly whereby pressure is introduced to a system and to the reduced pressure side of the PRV which will damage the valve.
